The short answer

An IPTV subscription from GTAIPTV costs between $18 and $248 CAD, across five connection tiers and four term lengths. One connection for one month is $18. The lowest effective rate on the grid is $6.50 a month, the one-connection twelve-month plan at $78. Every plan carries a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Read this before the table: what a "connection" is

Almost every pricing page in this market labels its tiers by device count and leaves you to work out the rest. The word that actually matters is connection, and it means one screen streaming at one moment.

A two-connection plan does not mean two devices. Install your login on the living-room TV, a bedroom Firestick, a phone and a laptop if you want — all four can hold the credentials, and two of them can be watching simultaneously.

So the number you are buying is not "how many gadgets do I own". It is how many different things get watched in this house at 8pm on a Tuesday. For most households that answer is one or two; for a family running hockey, a kids' show and a news channel in three rooms, it is three.

The full price list

All prices in CAD. Each cell is the total charge for that whole term, not a monthly rate.

Simultaneous connections 1 month 3 months 6 months — Most Popular 12 months — Best Value
1 connection $18 $28 $48 $78
2 connections $28 $48 $88 $128
3 connections $38 $68 $118 $178
4 connections $48 $88 $128 $198
5 connections $68 $118 $168 $248

Five connections is the ceiling. There is no tier above it.

What each plan actually costs per month

The table above is what you pay. This is what it works out to — the number worth comparing against a cable line item.

Connections 1 month 3 months 6 months 12 months
1 $18.00 $9.33 $8.00 $6.50
2 $28.00 $16.00 $14.67 $10.67
3 $38.00 $22.67 $19.67 $14.83
4 $48.00 $29.33 $21.33 $16.50
5 $68.00 $39.33 $28.00 $20.67

Two things fall out of that grid that nobody advertises, so here they are plainly.

The four-connection tier is priced oddly well. At six months it is $128 against $118 for three connections — $10 more for a fourth screen. At twelve months it works out to $4.13 per connection per month, the cheapest per-connection rate on the entire price list. If you are hesitating between three and four, four is the better buy on arithmetic alone.

The jump from one month to three months is the biggest single saving. On every tier, moving from monthly to a three-month term cuts the effective rate by roughly 40%. The savings after that are real but smaller. If you dislike long commitments, three months captures most of the discount for a quarter of the exposure.

Which term should you actually buy

Term length is a risk decision, not just a price one, and it deserves to be treated as such.

Pick by how much certainty you have, not by the discount

  • 1 month — you have not used the service before and want more than the trial gives you. The most expensive way to buy, and a completely reasonable one.
  • 3 months — captures most of the discount, and covers a full season of whatever sport you switched for.
  • 6 months — Most Popular — the balance point. Roughly half the effective monthly cost of paying month to month, without a year of money committed.
  • 12 months — Best Value — the lowest rate, and the right choice once you have actually lived with the service for a term.

One honest note on annual plans generally, ours included: paying twelve months up front to any streaming provider concentrates your risk, because a card chargeback window is typically around 120 days and most of an annual term sits outside it. That is a reason to buy a long term from a provider you can identify and reach, not a reason to avoid long terms. We cover why that matters in what Canadian law says about IPTV, and who we are is set out on the about GTAIPTV page.

What every plan includes

The tier changes two things: how many screens stream at once, and how long the term runs. Everything below is on all twenty combinations.

Included on every tier, at every term

  • The full lineup — live channels and on-demand, pre-organized for Canada and USA viewers. Category breakdown on the channel list page linked below.
  • Four days of catch-up on all channels — a missed game or episode stays available inside the guide.
  • Live EPG plus a separate EPG link — the programme guide works in whichever player you choose.
  • A customizable playlist via a personal link — add or remove countries and languages and reorder what appears first, so you are not scrolling past thousands of entries with a remote.
  • 4K, UHD and QHD where the source supports it — no quality tier, no upsell for resolution.
  • A free VPN on every connection, on request — useful if your ISP appears to slow streaming traffic at peak hours.
  • Zero adult content — the lineup is family-friendly by default, not by parental control.
  • 24/7 WhatsApp and email support in English and French, and cloud servers in Canada and the northern USA.

No app lock-in, and why that is worth money

GTAIPTV sells the subscription, not the software. You get standard credentials — an Xtream Codes login or an M3U link — and use whichever player you prefer. IBO Player and Hot Player are the two we point people at most often; plenty of customers run TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro instead. Compare them in the best IPTV players roundup.

That separation is the part of the product that protects you. Players get pulled, abandoned or change their pricing regularly. When your subscription is welded to a provider's branded app, that is your problem; when it is a standard playlist, you move it to another player in two minutes.

How to buy

Six steps from price list to first channel

  1. Count the screens that stream at once. Not devices owned — devices playing simultaneously on a normal evening. That is your tier.
  2. Pick a term. 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, using the effective-cost table above rather than the headline price.
  3. Complete the order. The 7-day money-back guarantee runs from the day the subscription starts.
  4. Receive your credentials. An Xtream Codes login or an M3U link, plus a separate EPG link. The two are different and go in different fields.
  5. Load them into any player. Follow the setup guide for your device — there is no GTAIPTV app to install.
  6. Set up the extras. Ask support for the free VPN, request your personal playlist link to reorder countries and languages, and load the EPG so catch-up appears.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an IPTV subscription cost in Canada?

At GTAIPTV, between $18 and $248 CAD depending on how many simultaneous connections you need and how long a term you buy. The entry point is $18 for one connection for one month. The lowest effective rate on the price list is $6.50 a month, which is the one-connection 12-month plan at $78.

What does '1 device' or '2 devices' mean on the price list?

It means simultaneous connections, not installations. One connection lets one screen stream at a time. You can install a player and your login on as many devices as you like — a TV, a phone, a tablet, a laptop — but only the number of connections in your tier can be watching at the same moment.

Which plan is the best value?

Per connection per month, the four-connection 12-month plan at $198 works out to $4.13, which is the lowest rate anywhere on the grid. Per household, the six-month terms are the ones most people settle on, because they cut the monthly cost substantially without committing a year of money to a service you have used for a week.

Is there a refund if I change my mind?

Yes. Every plan carries a 7-day money-back guarantee from the start of the subscription. That window exists because a subscription is worth judging on your own connection, your own device and the channels you personally watch, and a week is long enough to know.

Can I test the service before paying anything?

Yes. There is a free 24-hour trial that needs an email address and no card. It is capped at ten trial requests per day, so if the day's batch has gone the next one opens tomorrow. That cap is a capacity limit on real trial lines, not a countdown timer.

Do I have to buy a box or install your app?

No to both. GTAIPTV supplies the subscription — the playlist link, the EPG link and support — and you use whichever player app you prefer on hardware you already own. There is no GTAIPTV-branded app, which means nothing about your setup breaks if you later change player.

Do you charge extra for 4K, catch-up or the programme guide?

No. Every plan includes 4K, UHD and QHD where the source supports it, four days of catch-up on all channels, a live EPG plus a separate EPG link, a customizable playlist you can reorder and filter by country and language, and a free VPN on request. The only thing that changes between plans is how many screens can stream at once and how long the term runs.

Still deciding

If you have not used the service yet, start with the 24-hour free IPTV trial rather than the cheapest month — it is limited to ten requests a day, and it answers the only question a price list cannot: whether the channels you personally watch are stable on your connection, on your device, at the hour you actually watch.

Key takeaways

5 points
  • The four-connection twelve-month plan at $198 works out to $4.13 per connection per month, the cheapest per-connection rate anywhere on the price list.
  • Moving from monthly to a three-month term cuts the effective rate by roughly 40%. Every saving after that point is real but considerably smaller.
  • A card chargeback window is around 120 days, so most of an annual term sits outside it. Buy long terms only from a provider you can identify and reach.
  • Nothing is gated by tier. 4K, catch-up, the EPG and the customizable playlist are on all twenty combinations; only screen count and term length change.
  • Buy by how many screens play different things at 8pm on a Tuesday, not by how many devices are in the house.
